very early ideal e-type

definitely an ideal E type prob around 1967/68.
Not seen one with the original gas valve like that for a long time .
It was an unusual valve that basically you could change everything on it .
T/couple power pack, the governor ,operator and even the pilot control knob assembly(known as the pilot stat).
Used to come with ceramic burner bars that should have been changed around 1981 along with the cast iron baffle plates for steel ones.
There ends the history lesson

Aah, it's a Grundfos boiler!

By the looks of the rust its had a fair amout of condensation on it anyway .
Looks lke the only bit not leaking is the pump valves that normally leak.
