Yes. Its perfect for that. Doesn’t matter what type of boiler you have. When you programme the thermostat, you set the periods of when it comes on, how long it stays on and at what temperature. You can set different times and temperatures for different days of the week if you like too. So for example you could set it to be on from 5.00pm to 11.00pm at 23° and then from 11.00pm to 6.00am at 18° and then from 6.00am to 8.00am at 22° or whatever you fancy. It’s very easy to set up a schedule. With a combi, you’ll only need a single channel thermostat and receiver.
