We've got an open plan lounge, dining room & kitchen and have laid an engineered oak floor with an oiled finish.
Once laid the floor seemed quite ‘dry’ so I applied a Tarkett refresher oil as recommended by the supplier.
The floor now seems dry again but more importantly small spills/splashes are marking it - especially in the kitchen area.
Can I apply another oil on it or does it need sanding first ?
If oil can be applied can without sanding – any recommendations ?
