Well, we laid an oil finished, engineered floor a month ago.
Since then it seems to have 'dried' out quite a bit.

It been cleaned a couple of times using diluted CIF wood floor cleaner and a damp mop.
Skirting boards were also cut in the room so did get a good coat of sawdust.

My wife has picekd up 2 litres of Tarkett Oil Refresher.
Does anyone have tips on applying ? Cloth ? Brush ?

Once oiled, is the CIF stuff, or any other supermarket product, the right or wrong thing to use ?

Wrong! !
Always use a gentle detergent, like a cleaning soap specially made for wooden floors.
CIF is in the market as cleaning company, not wooden flooring care products as main product
