Hi.

I'm not sure the best order to get the installs done in my kitchen.

I have already has the plastering done.
I also have all new electical wiring handing loose

I've just completed installing the waste and water pipes ready for the units.

To cut to the chase the gas man says call me once the units and worktop are in. But this would mean he will need to run the pipes under the cabinets. will this be possible ?

The other option I have is to cut a section from the bottom of each cabinet. However I can't see that this idea would help him unless he does the install in 2 parts.

ie.

1) install piples
2) I then get the cabinets fixed to the wall
3) I then get the worktop cut and fitted
4) get him back to connect the cooker and hob

Any advice on what others might / have done

Two things spring to mind.

Either he wants to do the job all at once, not in two visits which would presumably make the job less/not profitable.

Or

He has no intention of coming back at all and probably won't bother to answer the phone when you call.

Only time will tell ...

:)
