Can I lock the radiator thermostat?

A child won't leave the thermostat alone in his bedroom. He turns it up to high (5), just because he can. We are foster carers and some children are not able to listen to reasoning, such as it will get very hot and you will burn yourself if you touch it.

Is there any way I can set it then lock it? It is a Danfoss if that helps.

Turn it off at both ends and then remove the head until summer.

That'll learn him.

There may well be. Post a photo of yours to help identify it.

Also of the valve at the other end please.
