Can I replace Honewell St6400 with ST6100 for Y Plan?

I would be grateful for any help with my problem as below:

My ST6400 is not working, my friend gave me a new ST6100. I know ST6400 is two channels and ST6100 only one channel. But I only need timer for HW because I always set heating 24/7.
Can I replace my faulty ST6400 (I have a 3 port mid position valve.) with the new ST6100? If yes, how do I do with the wiring? Thank you very much any help in advance.

No. You have good controls, why for the sake of a few pounds destroy that.

Get another ST6100 and you are sorted.

for the price of a 2 channel prog, its not worth the reduction in usability. As said earlier - get the right one
