can i use bonding over shower tray

i have a stone resin shower tray to fit and it just squeezes in the gap going flush to bricks at either side as we have taken everything back. am i ok to fit this in and then use bonding on one side above shower tray to level wall and on other side fit aqua board (as v large uneven area) both overlapping onto the tray and then tile onto these surfaces???
