shower tray

We are fitting a shower tray (Stone resin) using riser kit. If we put the tray ona ply base then the legs the tray is too high for the plinth.
Can we put the legs straight onto the floor board which are solid?

..could you put down a bit of DPC on the floor then put the legs on that?
(A roll of damp proof course, the stuff they wrap the ends of joists in..)
