Can i use MDF Primer on normal wood ??

Hi folks.

Thanks to the info on a previous thread i have purchased some MDF primer i needed.

My question is that i have also had a couple doors re-hung the other side of the frame so new door stops that have been put in with "normal" wood.... Can i use MDF primer for this "normal" wood as well or will i have to buy another tin of wood primer ??

It only like a normal acrylic primer...just thin it out a bit ..it will be fine.
