Hi guys just wondering if you can help me out here. I need to know if i can use this shower mixer tap from argos with my water heater http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/8320627/Trail/searchtext>SHOWER+MIXER.htm

The part i'm wondering about is "The water level in the storage tank should be at least 1m above the hand shower."

In my pic it shows that the top of the current taps to the bottom of the water heater is 97cm but from the taps to the middle underneath the water heater is 100cm

Heres the sticker with details about the water heater

Thanks in Advance :)

"The water level in the storage tank should be at least 1m above the hand shower."

This refers to the cold water tank if the mixer is fitted onto a low pressure supply.

What type of boiler is it?

Hi, Thanks for your reply, Im not sure what type it is? All i know is that its called my water heater

I wouldn't think you will have pressure problems with that mixer as long as your hot supply is ok. :D

Think you should post in the Electrics forum asking if these are allowed in zone 1. :(

Hi...looked at the photo with a fresh pair of eyes and spotted IPX1
not suitable for zone 1 i.e. above the bath.

Thanet

Take a smaller picture of your boiler and put it in a new topic in the electrical forum.

That pic is too big and is spoiling the page layout. :(
