I know it's better fitting a filter on the return pipe but is it ok to fit it on the out pipe ?.
My return pipe doesn't have any spare room thanks to the filling loop !

The return is the usual place, but you can fit it to the flow pipe. It shouldn't be fitted before the vent pipe if you have an open vented system. However as you have a filling loop, yours will be a sealed system. Wherever it goes, don't forget to leave room for servicing it.

The diagram below is for a MagnaClean. Other filters are available. ;)

You can, it wont really protect the boiler, but even on the return they dont protect it 100% anyway, so if its between having a filter and not having one, then yes, fit on flow, if its a case that you could move the filling loop and fit filter on return but it seems like hasstle, then thats the route you should take.
