Can you (Or I ) order DGU's mail order

Like Specify the dimensions & they just mail it to ya ?

The dude in our local glass merchants asks wayyyyyyyyyyyyy too many questions ..... I keep telling him I'm doing repairs....... But he just loves to PMO .............. Yeah OK after a certain size the glass has to be thicker.............. I'll accept that ..... But do I have to be told that its not going to be 4mmX2+12 its gonna be 6mmX2+8...... I'm like Ferk ourf mate .... just order it ........ Ok its gotta be saftey glass in some circumstances "Granted" ....... But no ya can't come & do a site visit ........... Yas thinks I'm some kinda "House plant"

TBH it sounds to me like the guy is only trying to do you a favour and save you a lot of hassle later on.

If you were asking me for advice I would probably go along the same lines but at the end of the day, if you are fitting them yourself and you providing me with the sizes and all I have to do is deliver them, then I would just give you what you asked for. It's wouldn't be my problem to make sure they comply with building regs etc. If people dont tell you these things how else would you know?
