Hello. I have an Ecotec Plus system boiler with noddy controls (programmer and room stat). I'd like to improve on that with a weather compensating control. However, all seem to insist that they're only compatible with a Unistor cylinder. I have a perfectly serviceable high recovery gravity-fed hot water cylinder and I'd like to keep it that way. So what would happen if I just plonked the VR 10 temperature sensor on that?
Can you use Vaillant WC controls with conventional hot water cylinder?
