Candy Alise 1000 washer/dryer - HELP!!

I have a 15 yr old machine as above. It seems to be stuck on a wash mode. The dial turns through to the end but the machine stays full of water in a wash mode. Is there a filter somewhere (cannot find one). Any ideas anyone or is it time for washng machine heaven.

Just off down to the river to wash my weeks washing and beat against the river bank. Thanks

If it washes into infinity the chances are it isn't heating. At 15 years old this must be some kind of record as Candy has a bad reputation. To be honest I would take it on a trip to the dump & consider buying a new machine. But if you have some kind of sentimental attachment to it then post the model details on the door sticker so we know exactly which model you have.
