I have the pictured ideal standard shower knob and need to remove as I have got a leak. There is no obvious way to remove, has anyone come across this previously and knows how to remove? I "think" it might be to lever the front face plate, but don't want to risk damage if I am wrong
1. Have a look at https://www.showerspares.com/ideal-...tandard-active-faceplate-and-handles-a4105aa/
2. Looks as if the inner part of the knob with its "wrap around" part going down the side of the knob, slides out to reveal a screw. Removing the screw allows the knob to be removed.
3. You will then need to remove the chrome wall plate and more bits and pieces before the cartridge is revealed.
Thanks, That is definitely the item that I have. Looking at the diagram, I held down the "button" and then used a screwdriver to dislodge it and now it is out - thank you very much!
