Can't clear alerts on texecom panel 64 wireless, new install

Hi

I have a Texecom 64 wireless panel that shows system alerts of "tamper on zones 1-8".
tried engineer reset using the master code/ engineers code but no luck. tried omitting these zones 1-8 but that didn't work either

I have only programmed zones 9-11 with 2 x pir and a 1x door contact

When installing and powering the panel for the first time i loaded the defaults as instructed by the manual and learned my 3 devices which work on the "walk test" so I'm not sure what else to try?

any ideas?

U need to program zones 1-8 as not used

So what zone types are zones 1 to 8 programmed as?

I'm not sure to be honest as i never programmed them, they just show as tamper when i first powered the system

Thanks so much, that did the trick, I just need to get rid of the "Exp 1,1 Tamper" now then hopefully it will arm

Is the lid fitted correctly on the expander ensuring the tamper switch is depressed?

Thanks again sorted it, just had to put the commission pin out of commission mode.
