Yes, poss packed in with glue and old paint. Anyways, need to measure and get a WC mortise, then I know what to do in the other WC. First time I'm doing this as my Dad normally does it.

the black-case ones are their budget version. there is a range with a silver-grey painted case, it's called the "silver" or possibly "sterling" range and the others aere 3-lever locks.

Am I going to be able to fit the new mortise without chiseling? I managed to get a like for like when I changed the one on the front door.

just saw this one, which very surprisingly is both better quality and cheaper (fractionally bigger)

the red-cased strongbolt range includes their front-door locks which are well-regarded.
