car stereo pin codes

After disconnecting my car battery, I discovered that my car stereo is locked. There is a place in Glasgow that will reset it but it means taking a day off work to get there. Does anyone know of an on-line (or even telephone) resource that I can get a new code? Or is that too easy?

the car is a Renault Laguna and the stereo is the factory fitted model.

if you google it there a load to choose from,ive no idea how or if they work though,some advertise as low as £5

thanks. did that and found loads, they even supply removal tools if you need them. Funnily enough the first thing i did before making this post is to Google for codes. Next time i'll do it with my eyes open.
