Car tyre condition and MOT

Hi. Would anyone know if my car would pass of fail an MOT with these cracks in the rubber? The tread is 5 mm deep

Strictly I think the cracks need to go right down to the fabric/cords but I wouldn't drive on tyres like that in a million years!
I had light cracks in the groves running around the tyre and one of two between the blocks, the garage guy said it was not a fail because they did not go all the way down, but I switched them out anyway. Remember you are a long time dead!
