Caravan 12v outlet - advice please!

Posted here, as didn't know which section otherwise.

Colleague has bought an old caravan, and wants to know what this is, and what it is for.

Get a photo of the wiring behind it. Otherwise it's just a 12v 10a socket.

It is a Senate socket, where the bottom section takes a Senate Plug. I am not sure what the top half is - perhaps a broken TV connection? EDIT>>> or is the top half a (broken) cigarette lighter socket?

You got me interested - and I found it using Google Images.

Top section is a 'TV socket' - although perhaps the worst quality TV socket I think I have ever seen. :>
