Hello All,

I have some old suspended concrete floors I want to carpet. They are dusty but *seem* dry and are fairly (but not completely) level - certainly level enough not to bother me.

Not sure what to do next before putting down underlay and carpet. Options :-

1. Paint concrete sealer.
2. Apply latex screed.
3. Lay plywood.

I want to stop the dustiness and avoid any maintenance for as long as possible. Any advice much appreciated!

Thank You!

Brush over with weak pva / water mix will stop any dust .(glues it all down).

Buy a floor primer like Fball P131 , Ardex P51 , Uzin PE360 , Laybond universal primer.
