Hello,

So I’m having a gypsol self levelling screed put into a approx 100m sq basement flat.

I haven’t got a huge budget so I was thinking of sealing the screed myself - ie making it waterproof, stain proof and as hard wearing as possible.

The screed will be the finished floor surface - it is not being tiled or carpeted or boarded over.

I want it to look as much like a polished matt finish concrete as possible - if that is possible :)

Does anyone have any recommendations? I have googled and found lots of sealers and resins, but I would appreciate any knowledge on this.

Thanks very much

Rich
