Moving to a new flat and there's already a hole in the door for a catflap. Now, the problem is I can't find a catflap that fits it online. Am I best finding one that's too big and cutting more from the door, or finding one smaller that'll fit in? I don't know if the frame will keep the door in place in that scenario.

Every time I find one the right size in width it's too small in height, I can't find one bigger in both dimensions!

Yeah but the max height for frame is about 25cm. That would fit I guess. I was more looking for advice on whether to go bigger or smaller than current cut out though. If I go wider but smaller in height (looks likely) will it be sturdy?

Yeah, my point is that none fit the size as it is, so would it be best getting one too wide but smaller in height? I just dont want it breaking from not being secure.
