We had a single skinned utility room, the interior of which had been covered in t&G effect cladding sheets. Behind these were large polystyrene sheets for insulation. When we removed the cladding in preparation for pulling down the utility, we found large areas of the polystyrene had been removed and the void was fillled with a huge ants nest, as well as most of the sand that had been disappearing from the grout lines in the patio!
