Hello,
We are proposing to fill the cavity of my old 1970s extension with this stuff when the outer brick skin is replaced. It will likely be full fill of a 50mm cavity. What I want to know is whether we risk creating a damp bridge if ever the outer bricks are saturated? It just looks like yellow fluff to me. And is it wise to lose the cavity?
Also, would you take it all the way down to the DPC or keep it a little higher to keep it off any potential wet?
