I had cavity wall insulation inserted last wednesday.
I went into my loft today and found the insulation in some areas but i cannot feel anything in others. I am pushing my hand down the cavity about 6 inches.
should it be full all the way along ?

thanks

injected cavity fill is rather unreliable and can be a bit hit and miss.

if you can acess these voids then force some fibreglass cavity insulation into them.

Agree with noseall on this one, it is not the best system and leaves voids , the house builders i sub contract for use it in new builds and when we sometimes have to do remedial works etc , it is often non existent in the wall cavity
