I think it will depend on what is causing the damp in the first place - I wouldn't imagine it will cure it though. Check the outside of the building for leaking gutters, damp course being breached etc.
Hi, You need to find out where the damp is coming from. There could be several causes. If its only recently appeared then this would indicate a failure of something such as gutters, damp proof course, roof. CWI is really only intended for preventing loss of heat, it isn't a cure for damp. I would also check on ventilation in the room as a lack of ventilation could cause condensation. Paul
