CBB65 start capacitor?

Yeah, I know what you mean - last thing is to see the wrong component do the pump in. Strange though - they seem to still do the service kit (28474) for the N series pre2008 pumps - and it seems to have the right capacitor in it. Obviously you don't need the whole kit at that price but you would think the capacitor itself would still be able to be sourced.

First thing I did.
Obsolete and no parts stocked by them for that age product.

Obviously a remote (foreign) call centre but chap trying to be helpful! Although he didn't even have access to documentation for a product of that age and could give the ratings for the capacitor!

These pumps are bullet proof and they obviously want to retire all those that are still going!

It's bolloiks when you're job is to repair things! Boils my pizz

Btw: did you watch my YouTube video mate? This pump belongs to a mate so I'm going the extra mile and not just saying "new pump" which you have to normally do as it's just not cost effective for me or a customer!
