Recommendations for a mid-priced outdoor CCTV camera please, folks. Less than 100 quid and with no monthly subscription. I bought a cheap one recently from a large online retailer ( with good reviews) and haven't been able to set it up because the app failed to recognise the validity of the QR code or the number on the back of the camera.

Also opinions on the effectiveness (or otherwise) in a domestic situation of dummy cameras.

TIA

Cameras and DVR/ NVR should be designed around purpose they are required for.

Mid price cctv for less than £100, no idea. We don’t do analogue cameras and up ones are a lot more expensive.

A camera is t any good without a means of recording the footage.

As for dummy cameras depends on how realistic they are I guess.

Righto, thanks. I had a fairly decent set of Blink cameras at our previous home, so maybe I'll go for those again.
