Hi im currently building an outside macaw aviary, to breed my parrots .Problem is im not sure what cctv stuff i should be looking at, and if possible was thinking if someone on here has installed some.
Is this like Parrot P*rn stuff, is there a market for that?

depends what you want to se and when you want to see it.
you can get colour camears, and colour thaty change to b/w in low lioght, that can also see under infra red light

Have a look on Ebay, you can get wireless cameras that either run off a 9v battery or 240V adaptor. You need a receiver and a pci card for your pc to convert the signal (the cards generally come with software for recording). I'm after something similar myself - just haven't got round to it yet. Like breezer says, you get cameras that pick up colour in the day, then when the light goes they film in infra red. I think you could probably sort the whole system for under £100.

I wasn't including recording in the £100 because he's already got a pc.
I'm only talking about camera, receiver and pci card.

do you have to change batterys ect cause that would be unreliable if they ran out in the night...

and vista compatible with motion sensors to start recording...
