Hi there,

Doing some renovation work in the box room and we have taken away a large floor to celing cupboard.
However, now the ceiling pattern does not match (I suspect the ceiling paint was done with the cupboard in-situ).
What is the best way to continue to ceiling pattern...

Thanks in advance

Can't be sure exactly what finish that is, but very likely something resembling emulsion with grit in it - this type of stuff can be found in places like B&Queue, not sure what it's currently called, but has been called 'Ripple' at one time.

You just paint it on.

Whether you can blend it in to match the existing, who knows, but worth a try.

@sparkwright - something like this?

Just checking on a quote to reskim the ceiling (and the rest of the room), but will do this otherwise.
Thanks

Another option is to steam off the entire ceiling and repair/skim
