Hi,
I have painted the brickwork in my cellar with 3 coats of Synthapruf or simlar and was going to plaster it to protect the waterproof coating, but this is quite expensive and time consuming, so I was thinking of perhaps tyrolene sprayed over just to protect the waterproofing. Render, I think would be too heavy and should be done when tacky, dot and dab then a skim, perhaps the adhesive wouldn`t stick to the waterproofing, so now the idea of a coating, what do you all think.

i think i would just paint it.

probably would use external textured masonry paint.

would try 1st without but you may need a good primer something like MDF primer to get adhesion. crown decorator centres may be worth a visit as i find them very good for advice.
