I have a 1900's built house with sandstone roof tiles.
I need to do some re-pointing (ridge tiles, etc) and would appreciate advice on the best mix. (incl. additives)
(All current pointing on both roof and walls is cement based so I would like to stay with this).

Thanks,
PhilT

A good general mix for roof work and ridge pointing is 3 parts sand to 1 part cement. Normal building sand will do
