Cement Render Alternative

My house had an extension built some years ago and the gable end (at the side) was supposed to be rendered I think (judging by the bradstone blocks being left proud). This was never done so the blocks and odd brick remain but now the neighbour's fence, shed and garage all mean that scaffolding is not an option (and a ladder is almost impossible too).
Does anyone have a recommendation for a simple easily applied coating to cover up the blocks? Any suggestions most welcome , many thanks.

How can anyone comment on the basis of that information?

Why not post pics of the front and rear walls, and the gable wall?
