Hi,

Our central heating wont switch off, regardless of whether it is on, off, timed, etc on the control panel - unless we physically turn the boiler off.

We have a Potterton Suprima 60l and a Horstmann CentaurPlus C27 programmer/thermostat.

We had this problem in January, and just when we were about to call a plumber around to look at the system, it fixed itself and all returned to normal for the rest of the winter (when the rads were timed to come on at various points in the day), and then over the summer when they were off altogether and we only used the boiler for hot water.

We then started to turn the rads on (timed) a few weeks ago and just now, this problem has returned and we have to turn the boiler on/off manually whenever we want either hot water or heating.

The system is not that old - installed in Dec 2004 (I think, we only bought the house early last year).

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance!
