Central heating autopilot! I need help!!!

I am in need of help please guys!

I am finding that even when turned off, my central heating is turning itself on. It comes on at full power and the light on the thermostat isn't turning itself on.

It woke me up last night because it came on full blast.

I don't really have the spare cash to pay for a service so any advice on what the problem is anbd how I fix it would be really appreciated.

Bear in mind that not maintaining you boiler is likely to result in repair bills that far outweigh a service bill.
