Yeah sure. I get that. It’s generally quite simple under there. I should have got better photos. Perhaps later I’ll get some and draw where the pipes run.Sometimes it's unavoidable but generally not a good sign... Especially when you see it on a system that is having issues!
It causes an experienced plumber to begin wondering what else the installers may have done!
In this case I think it’s because getting a line of copper down the hallway would have needed a run of floorboards to come up and someone couldn’t be arsed. I don’t fancy having the floor up, again, but theoretically it’s possible to change to entirely copper with some effort
