central heating not working

my display panel to switch on central heating has went blank i got someone to have a look at it and the advised me to buy a new control panel i did this and the new one the screen is still blank any suggestions what i can do now as it is freezing in here many thanks
 
You need to check the fuse in your fused outlet is ok, then, if you feel confident enough, test the L & N at the programmer/back plate to see if you have power there with a multi meter.
