Hi All,
Sorry for any stupid questions but this is my first post and I dont have much idea on plumbing related matters.
Here is the problem, we have just turned on heating after the summer and radiators wont warm up.
House 5 yrs old with Potterton Suprima 40 boiler.
The wife had turned all the rad valves off but now opened again we have no heat to rads ( apart from 2 upstairs in toilets when hot water is on )

Any advice or help would be great . Thanks !!!

Assuming you have a 3 port valve, try manually operating the lever (it usually has a latch position). Does the heating work now? If so consider changing the sync motor in the valve, or the valve head completely.

You may not have one of these of course, but look by boiler, in airing cupd etc.

What type of valves has your wife turned off. I'm thinking if these are thermostatic, they may be stuck in the closed position.

valve on right hand side of rads, if they are the ones you say, how can i free them if they are stuck ?
