Central heating pipes in contact with wood

hey it it ok to have central heating pipes in direct contact with wood in wall/ floors or could it cause problems with them getting too hot?
 
if you heating is greater than 500F you may have spontaneous combustion apart from that your ok :D :D
 
...I suppose after 100 years or so, you might get some wear on the pipe..
