Central heating pipes in contact with wood

hey it it ok to have central heating pipes in direct contact with wood in wall/ floors or could it cause problems with them getting too hot?

Yes it is fine.

if you heating is greater than 500F you may have spontaneous combustion apart from that your ok

wont set on fire, but might annoy you ticking away like a bomb. specially when you fancy a lie in.

...I suppose after 100 years or so, you might get some wear on the pipe..
