central heating programmer

hello all, new poster, can anyone please help. i have a british gas cental heating programmer (older type)dual channel dcp type v3 555054. i have no display at all. can anyone please tell me if there is a battery inside the unit,icannot find any visible access to change a battery. cannot find anyone that now stocks this model. any help or advise would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

A photo generally helps, but I suspect it’s a rebadged Drayton LP programmer. I think some were replaceable others weren’t. If it is the Drayton and you can’t replace the battery, then a new unit would clip onto existing backplate.
