We have a big house on 3 floors and our pump is about 14 yrs old. Still going, but is a bit noisy at times and I sometimes wonder if it is getting the water around the house as fast as it used to.

What's the expected life of these pumps? Do they loose power over time? Would it be wise to replace it now even if it may have several years more life in it? It's a powerful pump so I'm guessing at a couple of hundred pounds to replace, but better than being left without heating...

Thanks.
