My friend has a 6 feet high ceonothus shrub, which is a fantastic colour with magnificent flowers. Has anyone successfully managed to take cuttings from this type of shrub? If you have, when is the best time of year and how do you do it?
Hi
I have taken lots of ceanothus cuttings in my nursery.
Take cuttings of new growth in spring, early summer as you would do softwood cuttings. Use a rooting powder.
