ceramic floor tile

I just had new glazed ceramic tile installed to my floors. My tileman says sealer is unnecessary to apply to my floor. He tells me just a little vinegar and water will keep the floor very clean including the grout. I'm skeptical that vinegar will lift any stains. Help! I want to do what is needed before me grout stains. Thanks
