I want to lay ceramic tiles on a timber floor but am concerned about movement and the tiles cracking.
I was thinking of laying 12mm WBP play onto the existing T&G floor and tiling onto this using flexible adhesive and flexible grout. Has anyone done this or any ideas?

Thank you

Pete

I did my bathroom floor tiles using the flexible adhesive / grout, It says you can lay directly onto the tongue & groove floorboards but I layed 8mm OSB board (1/2 the price of plywood) and screwed it down approx every 8 inches or so ....no problems whatso ever

Thanks :)

I have ordered the sheeting so I'm goung for it ;)

Thanks again

Pete
