Can anyone help me? I am in the process of laying a ceramic floor in the bathroom. The tiles have a high abrasion resistance and are therefore difficult to cut. I want to secure the toilet and sink to the floor, what is the best thing to use to drill a hole in the tiles? :?:

If they are actually ceramic then a tile drill will be fine. It is more likely that they are porcelain in which case you will need something like an Armeg drill bit, this wont melt or break like a tile drill.

Thanks Jason B. Will try and get an Armeg Drill bit tomorrow, do you have to get these from a specialist shop?

Tile shops should have them, Screwfix do them. cost just over £20 for a 6mm
