Ceramic repair kit for a basin

I am thinking of buying a ex-display sink and cupboard which is a good brand but it has a very small ship on the underside. Shop says I can get a repair kit which I see there are many on amazon.

Can anyone recommend any and do they really work / is it hard work and noticeable after its done (wife's a dentist so is used to doing crowns and veneers etc so will let her to do the hand job). Pardon the pun.

I would have thought a dentist would have the right gear to colour match from the tooth repair materials they have as good or better than from a shop.

Repair for ceramics is going to be resin with a filler powder added and doubt would be as hard as dental filling
