Not sure about the noise eminating from the water pump.
It's a low pitched noise, sounds like a car engine revving in the distance that oscilates on about 1 or 2 second cycle. can just about hear it over the telly.
I'm not sure how fast these pumps rotate so not sure if 1 or 2 second revolutions are too slow for a pump?
Anyway it's a Grundfos, and it's getting on for about 20 years old.
