Stopped working overnight!
Vaillant ecotec 630 plus...boiler fires up for one second then stops. There are no error faults.
Pressure has dropped overnight by 0.5 bar from 1.7 til 1.2. Pressure had been stable beforehand.
Loud clanging/metallic noises were audible from the motorised valves up in the loft near the hot water cylinder when the boiler was starting up.
I poured hot water over the condensate pipe just to be on safe side.
In the absence of any error faults on the boiler, what is the most likely issue?
